Rio Dive Pool turns GREEN in middle of competition - Olympic chiefs Baffled

Rio Olympics dive pool turns GREEN

There were bizarre scenes at the Olympic synchronised diving final after the pool turned a murky shade of green.

The five-metre deep diving pool - which was a normal blue colour during the men's event last night - appeared to be becoming more green as the competition went on.

Thankfully the divers did not seem that bothered by the water's green hue either - including British girls Tonia Couch and Lois Toulson.

Would you have swam in it to win competition?

French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot bears an UNCANNY resemblance to Kate Middleton

Spectators of the women's road race final at the Rio Olympics were quick to notice that French cyclist Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, left, who came 26th in the race, bears an uncanny resemblance to the royal, right.

Indeed, the 24-year-old may be ten years younger than Kate, 34, but eagle eyed fans noted that the duo share similar features. Whilst Pauline's hair is much lighter than Kate's glossy brunette locks, they do share a similar look.

Pauline and Kate have a strikingly similar bone structure - and both have those famous dimples.
