10 things that determines Sexual Attraction

What is it that determines who we are sexually attracted to?

The attractiveness appears to depend upon a number of factors that comprise both biological, psychological, and yet others have to do with our social environments.

Below are ten of the most interesting findings scientists have documented when it comes to attraction.

1. We tend to be attracted to people who look like us. For instance, in one study, researchers asked heterosexual men and women to rate the attractiveness of several faces [1]. Included among the photos was a picture of one’s own face that had been digitally morphed into the other sex. Participants found this morphed face to be more attractive than all of the others!

2. This may sound creepy to some of you, but we also seem to be attracted to people who remind us of our parents. For example, research has found that people born to older parents tend to be attracted to older partners as adults.

Five different type of Soulmate everyone may meet and love in their Lifetime

                                                  Artist Credit: Cameron Gray

The friend soul mate.

Not every soul mate is going to be a romantic one. A friend soul mate is essentially your "best friend," but lasting a lifetime. You never lose track of them and they never lose you. They're your friend soul mate

The spiritual soul mate
This is a person you connect with on a spiritual level more so than others for seemingly no reason. This is often a platonic soul mate as well. You feel like you've known each other for eons but it isn't a sexual kind of romantic relationship.

The stranger soul mate.

The stranger soul mate is a soul mate who comes in quick and leaves quickly too. The relationship is brief and often completely platonic. It's a new friend, a best friend, who moves away a year later, only to lose touch with you completely.

The affair soul mate.

This is an awkward type of soul mate. They have the energy and passion of, well, an affair. It doesn't necessarily mean you're cheating on someone in order to have this soul mate. You can be single and experience them as well. It's exciting and different.

The disaster soulmate.

This soul mate comes in like a wrecking ball, so to speak. They enter your life and break stuff up. They may come in peacefully and stick around for a long time. They appear in our lives when the peace needs to be broken and monotony must be ended.

Absolutely, actions directly or indirectly portraying this barbarous act should be critiqued.

A BBC cartoon featuring a toast soldier performing an Islamic State-style beheading of an egg (above) has been criticised by a mother for promoting 'extreme violence'.

The short episode of OOglies on CBBC also shows another soldier smeared in strawberry jam after being 'shot', before it throws a grape grenade back towards its enemy.

10 Things Good Men Will NEVER Do in a Relationship

There ways both partners agreeing to commit in a relationship are expected to behave towards each other.  On a popular note men are more stigmatized to behave irrationally, flirtation and all sort of distinguishable characters to individual.  But when you see a good guy and good men, certain attributes singles them out.

Here are a few things that men  "should" or "shouldn’t" act in a relationship written by award winning relationship writer James Michael Sama .

1. A good man will never pick apart your looks.
"Oh, if only your hair was a little longer." "If only you lost those couple of extra pounds." "If you would only wear more makeup." A good man will never take jabs at your appearance in a way that's demeaning to you or makes you feel badly about yourself. If he is doing this, he's purposely attempting to lower your self-worth so you won't feel confident enough to leave him. It's his way of trying to control you and it's emotional abuse. Walk. Away. Now.

5 Things Men Must Know about Women

Okay, this is for men too. Learn to reciprocate wife's love and treat her great.

There are 5 things that men must know about women. Women desire to “feel” these things, not just know them logically.  In her book, For Men Only, author Shaunti Feldhahn goes into great depth addressing these five, and a few others men need to know.
Men must know that:

1.    Women want to feel loved.  Many women feel insecure about our love for them.  There are two things we men can do about it.  First, reassure her.  In times of conflict with our wives, we should tell them we love them no matter what and that everything will be okay—“I love you.  We’ll get through this.” When she’s upset, she doesn’t need space,” she needs a hug and to be held.  Second, pursue her.  Women need to be pursued throughout the relationship, just as we pursued them before we got married.

2.    Women want to feel understood.  Women need us to understand how they think and feel, even though that is virtually impossible.  It would help us to understand that most women’s thought lives are like computers, with multiple windows open and processing all at once.  Unlike men who can only process one thing at a time, women are constantly juggling multiple thoughts and emotions all at the same time. On more than one occasion, I’ve watch my wife, daughters and their friends having a conversation where three of them were talking at once about three different things.  And guess what, they all understood each other! So, hopefully, if we can generally understand how women think, we might be better able to understand how they feel.

3.    Women want to feel emotionally secure.  Women want security.   Yes, financial security is important, but it comes second to emotional security.  Women do think about the house, bills and tuition, but feeling emotionally connected and close to us; and knowing we are there for her, no matter what, is what really matters.

4.    Women want to feel listened to.  Men, she doesn’t want us to fix it, she just wants us to listen.  She doesn’t want or need our solution to the problem, even if she asked for our opinion.  She does want us to understand how she’s feeling about the problem and identify with her in that feeling—“Thanks for sharing that with me.” or “I’m so sorry that happened.” might be good words to consider saying to her.

5.    Women want to feel beautiful.  She needs to know, deep within, that we find her beautiful and that we only have eyes for her.  She doesn’t just want to know, “Am I beautiful?” but, “Am I beautiful to him?”  There may be many mirrors in your home, but the mirror that means most to your wife is you

10 Things Husbands Want to Hear from their Wives

Are you married or thinking or getting married? Here is a good article from Mark Twain  that will be beneficial to take note in order to have a sweet home. Although you may disagree to some opinion but I think they all make good sense considering tremendous research he has conducted on marriage and relationship related issues.

1. “I love being your wife.”
As simple as it sounds, husbands want to know that their wives are content in their marriage, and truly enjoy just being with them.  When is the last time you thanked your husband for marrying you?  Don’t just assume he knows.  Tell him!
2. “You’re an outstanding father.”
Deep in the heart of every man is the desire to be seen as a hero—especially to his children.  Specifically tell your husband why he is your kids’ hero.  And, tonight at dinner, tell your children why he is so special.
3. “I’m really attracted to you.  You are the man!”
It’s a myth that women are always more looks-conscious than men.  As guys’ hairlines begin to recede and stomachs start protruding, they can become quite sensitive about their appearance.  Never joke about how your husband looks.  Tell him he’s “hot” and how attracted you are to him.
4. “I really respect the decision you made.”
When a man makes a decision, especially a tough one, he doesn’t want his wife being critical of it or questioning him about it.  He wants to know that his wife is behind him and admires his ability to make good decisions.
5. “I know how important it is to live within our means.  I’m with you on this.”
Your husband is concerned about the future of your family.  So that means he is concerned about taking care of his family financially.  Having a wife he can rely on to spend and save wisely is a tremendous comfort to him.
6. “I’m so grateful for your spiritual leadership.”
All of us are hardwired for a relationship with God, and many men want to be seen as the spiritual caretakers of their families.  Encourage your husband in his faith and for taking his role as a spiritual leader seriously.
7. “You are so wise.”
Many men are born problem solvers and relish the process of thinking through something and arriving at a solution.  This, incidentally, is why your husband is always trying to “fix” your problems when all you want him to do is listen.  Recognizing your husband’s mental prowess and complimenting him on his intelligence will pay massive dividends to you.  Emphasize to him that you trust his wise judgment.
8. “I appreciate how hard you work to provide for our family.”
There are many things in life that your husband cannot control, but one he can control is effort.  It brings him great pleasure to work hard and see the results.  To directly control, and be the man responsible for creating something from nothing thrills him.  Encourage his great work ethic.
9. “Thank you very much for helping me with that.”
When a man serves his wife, he wants her to recognize it.  A simple “thank you” is all he needs.
10. “I’m impressed with how you handled that situation.”
Sometimes a wife will point out when her husband does not handle something well.  So when he handles a particularly difficult situation well, let him know.
