On going rumor about the next flagship smartphones to roll out of Samsung's doors come February 2016 currently dubbed Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus, which alludes to the bigger handset model.
To compete with the recently unveiled iPhone 6S, the upcoming smartphone reportedly has features and specs similar to the Apple counterpart.
"Samsung Galaxy S7 will make use of magnesium alloy to make the smartphone's body more durable," Yibada noted. "It is also one of the best materials in dissipating heat, which is the same concept used by Apple in iPhones. Apple makes use of a combination of zinc and magnesium with aluminum."
Further, the S7 will reportedly be "powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset, contrary to the previous reports that the handset will be equipped with Exynos 8890 processor."
"It is still early to say that this is final as it is possible that the tech company is testing both processors," the site added.
In another update, it has also been alleged that the upcoming model will be "stronger than Galaxy phones we've seen before," according to Tech Radar.
