Photo: Terrified Mum desperately grips arm of 'Suicidal' Son after he jumps off bridge

Terrified mother held on to the young man for 20 MINUTES until firefighters arrived at the scene to pull him to safety. These pictures show a terrified mother desperately gripping the arm of her son after he jumped off a bridge.

The man is believed to have been suicidal, and trying to take his own life by leaping from the bridge, in Huizhou, southern China's Guangdong Province.

Before jumping off the bridge the man was seen quarreling with his family. He then climbed over the railing and attempted to jump. However, his mother unconsciously grabbed onto his arm and held onto him despite being pulled to the ground.

She then managed to hold onto his arm, while he clung with the other to a metal bar, until firefighters arrived. Thank for goodness he got a mother to save him.
