Happened today in Edo State at the Ugbowo-Lagos Expressway in Benin, when a girl of 10-years-old was crushed to death.
The girl was reported to have died on the spot before help was rendered.
The girl wanted to cross to the other side of the road unknown to her, that a car was approaching. The vehicle, a Toyota Camry according to source did not wait soon the victim was hit.
The blame has been leveled against the trailers parked on the road side obstructing the view of the coming vehicles when crossing the road.
Sad news, poor girl.
