Bishop Oyedepo Banned from Entering UK Over Church Corruption Allegations

The general overseer of the Living Faith Church WorldWide, known as Winners Chapel, Bishop Oyedepo has been banned from entering UK on corruption allegations.
Bishop Oyedepo who turned 60, is believed to be Nigeria's richest pastor and is widely regarded as one of the richest televangelist in the world.
According to SaharaReporters, the ban arose from preliminary investigations by Britain's Charity Commission in charge of monies donated to Bishop Oyedepo's church for charitable purposes. but instead the funds were channeled to  finance the Bishop's flamboyant lifestyle.
The probe was triggered after the British Charity Commission found out that the wealthy pastor had taken out more than16 million pounds from the UK since 2009.
According to the Saharareporters source, Bishop claim of running a not-for-profit religious organization was false, as the "commission found he diverts funds to engage in a series of profitable ventures".
The UK government as distributed notices warning airlines that operate flights to UK not to carry the bishop neither should his private jet enter UK airspace with him on board.
