Ivory Coast 1-1 Mali, Cameroon 1-1 Guinea; in Group D 2015 AFCON

2015 African Nations Cup tournament in Equatorial Guinea, with all the games in group D  having a draw game.  In their first games, they all played out a 1-1 draw, replicating that as well in their second games played on Saturday.

Ivory Coast and Mali set off the proceedings on Saturday in a game that had much attention beamed on Yaya Toure and Seydou Keita.

For the second successive game, Côte d'Ivoire trailed and still found a way to come back in the fixture. Bakary Sako put Mali in front as early as the sixth minute, leaving the Elephants chasing the match. Mali led for majority of the match, repelling the Ivorians from breaching them. However they couldn't see out the match as a late goal from Max Alain Gradel saw them share the spoils .

In the other game, Cameroon and Guinea had to settle for yet another draw. Moukandjo put Cameroon in front after just 14 minutes, however veteran Guinean player Ibrahima Traore equalized just before the break.

Both teams did a thorough job curtailing each other, and it always looked like it would end in a 1-1 draw although Stephan Mbia had an opportunity to win after failing to accurately connect his head to the ball.

If the final group D games end in a 1-1 draw, lots will be drawn to determine which two teams will advance to the quarter-finals .Group D is the only group at this year's Nations Cup, where a victory is yet to be recorded as well as a loss.
