Three Children Abandoned For Eight Years In Boarding School

Wonders shall never cease! So sad, because so many out there are childless and here are children abandoned.

Three children named Seun Adepegba, 14, Titilola, 13, and Seyi, 10,  all from same parents were abandoned in a boarding school in ABule-Iroko in the Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

According to Punch, these children are longing to see and reunite with their parents who have abandoned them for eight years without any contact.

Solid Model College narrated the tale when Punch Metro, it happened that Mr. Segun Adepegba enrolled their children at their boarding school in September 24, 2007 because he had separated from his wife and he could not care for the three children.

According to the proprietor of the school, Mr Samuel Ayegbusi,  "Mr Adepegba told me his wife had left him and that he could not afford to take care of them being a jobless man." At that time, Titilola was five and Seyi was two.

"Mr Adepegba pleaded with me to accept them in the boarding school. He and his sister promised to bear the cost of their upkeep.  They paid an initial N150,000 for the three children for thee first term."

But the their fatheror Aunty never showed up to pick them for holiday until four years later when he was reached on phone.

"Whenever  we call him and he realised who was talking on the phone, he would switch off his phones and for the next two weeks, the numbers would not be available. When the school contacted their father's sisters we are told that they had travelled out of the country.

"When we called one of them, we were told that they had sent money to Mr. Adepegba to defray the children's school fees and upkeep. But their father has never come here to make any payment since the initial deposit he made in 2007."

The proprietor complained of the lack of parental care impacting the children's performance in school. More so, Titilayo, of the children now misbehaves and has reported to have absconded in search of her father but was apprehended and now under watch to avoid leaving unnoticed.

The children said they've never met their mother  but they recount a woman who cares for them while they were with their father but they know she was not their mother.

Seyi, the youngest of the children says "Although I have a faint memory of my father, I like to see him. If he comes today I will ask him while he left so long."

Seun the eldest has this to say " I don't care how long he has left us. I just want to see him. I really need to see him"

When the Punch called their fathers number his phone were switched off.
