Twitter introduces Group Messaging and Embedded video tools

Twitter is rolling out two new features on its micro-blogging service: group messaging that allows users to have private conversations with groups of their followers, and a mobile video camera that allows users to share 30-second videos with their followers.
 

Until now the only way to have a group conversation was to have it publicly.

The group messaging function will allow users to have private conversations with a selection of their followers simultaneously. The members of the group do not all need to follow one another in order to chat.

So guess all her 17,000 followers would miss her as Zahra3_  page  no longer exists as at the time of this report.

World's richest YouTube account rakes in more than $5million in ad but the star never shows her face

A mystery YouTube star DC Toys Collector never shows her face on camera - but makes her living from unboxing videos and made almost $5m (£3.3) in ad revenue by opening Disney toy packages. Each video is presented by a mystery young woman, but all you ever see of her is her hands and impeccably painted nails.

According to figures published by analytics company OpenSlate, the highest earning YouTube account of 2014 was DC Toys Collector.

Facebook, Instagram Shut down in Some Places

Facebook is suffering a widespread outage Tuesday affecting users in the United States, Asia and Australia.The social media giant's Instagram service is also inaccessible. Instagram said on its Twitter account that it is aware of an outage and is working on a fix.There was no immediate statement from Facebook. Although not all the US locations were affected. Facebook had 1.25 billion monthly active users at the end of September.

US President Barack Obama has said that the Nigerian Government has not been effective against Boko Haram. Obama stated this while being interviewed by popular YouTube sensations, Bethany Mota, GloZell, and Hank Green.

 

19-year-old Mota asked the President what more the U.S. could be doing to help prevent more death and destruction in Nigeria at the terrorist group’s hands and he replied saying:

 

“What we've tried to do is to help the Nigerian government deal with the problem.”

“The Nigerian government has not been as effective as it needs to be in not only finding the girls, but also stopping this extremist organization from operating inside their territory,” Obama added.

GloZell Green, a popular YouTube fixture known for her extreme acts such as eating cereal in the bath, offered the President three samples of her trademark green lipstick as gifts for his daughters and for the woman she called Obama's 'first wife.' 'You know something I don't?' Obama cracked before Green corrected herself and referred to Michelle Obama as 'first lady.'
