Nigeria Improves FIFA World Ranking Despite not Participating in the 2015 AFCON

Despite Nigeria non participation in the just concluded 2015 AFCON, the new FIFA football ranking released today 12th February 2015, sees Nigeria step up by one place from 43rd to 42nd in the world. Nigeria is No. 7 in Africa.

Meanwhile, South Africa dropped 4 places from 52 to become No. 56 in the world and fell to 14th in Africa even after going to the AFCON.
