All about Katy Perry’s 13-Minute Super Bowl Halftime Performance with 4 Outfit Changes, 22,000 Crystals, Missy Elliot, a Lion & More!


 Katy Perry roared, stormed Super Bowl halftime performance with fire - the 13 minutes in-between a football game performance by wearing a dress with a flaming design as she rode a massive metallic tiger into the field. Her performance sure  blew a lot of people away and the internet has been buzzing since last night.

Her guest performances – Missy Elliot & Lenny Kravitz – to her stage props and more, Katy Perry brought the house down.

Her outfits were designed by Moschino designer Jeremy Scott was the mind behind all four of the outfits, the first of which featured three dimensional flames and custom LaDuca booties festooned with 12,600 Swarovski crystals, according to People. See more photos after cut..




Between the lion, the flying star, the chess boards and Missy Elliot being on stage, Katy Perry’s performance was grander in scope than anything seen in recent Super Bowl halftime memory.
 
Take a look at all the stage theatrics – bear in mind her performance was for 13 minutes in from of about 113 million fans.
 
Katy Perry put on a colorful show, performing such hits as “California Girls” and “Teenage Dreams” (with dancing sharks and beach balls) and closing the performance with “Firework,” floating through the stadium

She then took the stage with backup dancers dressed as chess pieces before Lenny Kravitz arrived with his electric guitar to accompany the superstar as she performed a mashup of her greatest hit.
