Update:Cop who Killed black Teenage on Tuesday May Not be Charge as CCTV showed Teen first aimed gun at Him

Surveillance footage taken at a Mobil gas station in Berkeley, Missouri last night shows a police officer, a 34-year-old six-year veteran of the force, approaching two males after a call of a theft in the area.

Early Tuesday morning after the teenage, 18 killing incidence (read here), at a press conference the Chief Jon Belmar said the officer was speaking to one of the males when the other, Antonio Martin, pulled out a 'defaced' weapon and aimed it at the officer, which can be seen in the CCTV footage (pictured center). The officer moved quickly back and shot the teenager three times, striking him once.

Martin did not fire his weapon, police said. Martin's mother, Toni Martin, was later seen sobbing at the scene (right) and claimed that police officers had shot her son as he attempted to run away.

Following the shooting, as many as 100 people gathered in the area to protest the shooting and threw bricks and detonated explosive devices (left), police said. At least two officers were injured and four arrests were made.
