During a special Friday prayer session yesterday, The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido responded to the threat made against him by the terrorist sect, Boko Haram (If you miss, read here)
He declared: "I am protected and nothing is going to happen to me." He said except it is the will of Allah, he will come to no harm.
He further urged all Muslim faithful to be on alert and to continue to watch out for the evils of insurgency amongst them.
He asked his people to be vigilant and to guard their markets, hospitals, churches and mosques against attacks. He refused to allow the insurgents drive people from their daily gathering because of fear.
