Unknown gunmen have kidnapped three expatriates working for a construction company in Ogbia local government council in Bayelsa State where President Goodluck Jonathan hails from.
Sources to SahaReporters said two of the victims, Muntaz Ahmad and Ghatar Abdul are nationals of Pakistan while a third victim, Sririri Rao is an Indian man who were employees of the construction firm, Elmerit were seized a few miles from the construction company’s base.
“They were kidnapped at gunpoint,” one source told SaharaReporters. He added that the abducted men were working on road projects in the area. “They were then dragged into a waiting boat which sped away into the surrounding creeks,” the source added.
The Police in the State are yet to confirm the incident.
