President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered the SSS to return Sanusi’s passport which was seized on May 3 while he was about to travel to Saudi Arabia for the lesser hajj during the upheaval of $20 billion oil revenue misapapropriaation.
The reconciliation move is believed to have been necessitated by both parties after closed door meeting in Abuja held on October 30.
The return of the passport has been confirmed by Tijjani Mailafiya, the Senior Special Assistant to the state Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso on Chieftaincy and Emirate Council Affairs, who told journalists that the travel document had been handed to the director in charge of its Kano state command, Bassey Itang.
