President Obama during the Chicago midterm election on Monday, a voter confronted and teasingly warned him," Mr. President, don't touch my girlfriend!"
The voter named Mike Jones said this as his girlfriend was voting beside Obama.
A smiling Obama replied back "I really wasn't planning on it," according to The Hill.
Embarrassed, the fiancee apologised on her boyfriend's behavior.
"I am sorry, please excuse him.. I can't believe Mike, he is such a fool," she said.
President Obama joked that Mike, "he was an example of a brother just embarrassing me for no reason whatsoever," but said they at least have a story to share with friends.
Everyone boosted into laughter and just taking pictures.
Obama said to the lady: "Fortunately, the president was nice about it, so it's all right.
Before Obama left the election scene, he hugged and gave her a cheek kiss.
