South African 800 meter Champion Mbulaeni Mulaudzi Dies in Car Accident

Mbulaeni Mulaudzi,  34-year-old who died in a car accident near Johannesburg on Friday.

He was described the most successful South African two-lap athlete of all time. J.P. van der Merwe, who coached him to world outdoor and indoor titles in the 800 meters, named him "one of the best sportsmen ever produced in the country".
