Alhaji Sani Kabir, the Sarkin Hausawa of Lagos, has said over 1,000 Boko Haram members have been arrested by Northerners in Lagos and other states in the South-West of the county.

This statement was made known on Thursday during a visit at the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Alhaji Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN) in Abuja.
According to him, these arrested members of the sect arrested were those fleeing from the military and civilian JTF onslaught against them in the North-East to continue continue violence in the South-West.
