The Doctors without Borders nurse who became the first person quarantined under new 'Draconian' Ebola rules has issued a charge against the government of New Jersey.
.
Nurse Kaci Hickox was placed in isolation at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey on Friday, just one day after a fellow Doctors without Borders volunteer tested positive for the disease in New York.
Now, New York and New Jersey Governors have instituted a mandatory 21-day quarantine rule for any persons arriving in their states, particularly those who came into contact with Ebola patients in the three West African nations at the center of the outbreak.
In her first TV interview with CNN, she called her living conditions at University Hospital 'inhumane', saying she was being kept in a tent with little to no contact with the outside world and no flushable toilet, TV or entertainment to pass the next three weeks.
She has since hired civil rights lawyer Norman Siegel to help secure her freedom as she cannot remain confined for 21-days.
As safety as the quarantine may sound, its hard to be confined.
