Boko Haram attacks! Despite ceasefire announcement - CNNews
CNN reports an attack on two villages and a town near the border with Niger, killing at least 8 and kidnapping others. This gunmen are believed to Boko Haram fighters.
This news contradict the earlier declared ceasefire by the Federal government after meeting with the Boko Haram representatives as claimed.
In one attack, militants ambushed travelers in the Borno State village of Shaffa, residents of the areas reported to CNN news man. While another gunmen attacked the village of Waga in Adamawa state, abducting a number of residents, including women.
Killings also happened in the town of Abadam, near Niger when unknown number of residents were attacked.
What is happening to the truce? Are they sure there was an agreement at all? If there was any negotiation what were the terms of agreement? Or maybe the followers (Bokos) have not receive quit notice of killings from their boss (Senior Boko). Perhaps the deal was meant to release only the girls and continue insurgence.
