A 32-year old man, Mr. Terkura lorpu, has been remanded in prison on Thursday in Benue state capital for abusing and infecting two minors of his lover with HIV.
It was gathered that the two victims, aged eight and six, were the daughters of his lover, Mrs. Mson Tor who was also tested HIV positive for over a year and had been on antiretroviral drugs.
The secret of abuse got exposed after notice unusual walking posture of the kids which prompted them to be subjected to medical examination. The result of sexual abuse and HIV positive lead to the suspect apprehended. The children witnessed their mother's boyfriend raped them. Sad!
