An unnamed member of the civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) stated that he had no knowledge of anyone named Al-barnawi from past affiliations with the emerging armed group of 2009 till date. Others hinted that the name might be a pseudo name as often adopted by many members of the armed group in the past.
