President Buhari resumes Office after Vacation

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday resumed work at the Presidential Villa after a sixday vacation. A statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the constitution, Buhari has sent a formal notice of his resumption to the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Buhari arrived in the country on Wednesday night from London where he had been on vacation since last Friday. He was received on arrival by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who acted as President during the period he was on vacation. Adesina had last Friday in a three-paragraph statement announced that Buhari was proceeding on vacation.
