Fresh Bomb blast hits police headquarters in Yola

A dead explosion ripped through the hadquarters of the Anti-bomb unit of the Nigeria Police in Yola, capital of Adamawa state on Thursday.

 

A witness told Daily Trust that many corpses of policemen and civilians were lying in the premises in the aftermath of the blast.

 

Adamawa is one of the North East states where Boko Haram insurgents have killed thousands of people and displaced millions.  Yola had experienced similar blasts in the past including mosque.
