North Korea Launches HYDROGEN BOMB that can cause a 5.1 magnitude earthquake

North Korean jubilate over the successful launch of a hydrogen bomb test.  Pyongyang purported to be the bomb pictured above. The thermonuclear weapon triggered a massive 5.1 magnitude earthquake when it exploded at 10am local time at the Punggye-ri nuclear test site in the north east of the country.

It comes weeks after leader Kim Jong-Un signing the order to carry out the detonation suggested his country had developed such a weapon, which is lighter yet even more powerful than nuclear bombs that rely solely on uranium and plutonium. The successful test marks a major step in North Korea's nuclear development and is bound to cause considerable anxiety to neighboring countries.

Reading a typically propaganda-heavy statement, a female anchor confirmed that a 'miniaturized' hydrogen bomb had been detonated and, that in doing so, North Korea had 'joined the rank of advanced nuclear states', and now had a weapon to defend itself against the United States and its other enemies.
