Nigeria Adewale Adeyemo Become Obama`s Deputy National Security Adviser

US President, Barack Obama has appointed a Nigerian Adewale Wally Adeyemo as his deputy National security adviser for international economic affairs.

The 34 year old had previously served in top role in the Treasury Department and will now replace Caroline Atkinson who was the former occupier of the position.

In a statement, Obama said `... I am grateful that Caroline Atkinson work will be carried on by Adewale Wally Adeyemo who has served in my administration sine 2009. At the Treasury Department he was part of the team that helped coordinated our response to the global recession, laying the foundation for renewed growth at home and abroad...`

Adeyemo holds a B.A from the University of California Berkeley and another degree from Yale Law School.
