Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says he was at the Club to make Money and Score goals not Fans

Emmanuel Adebayor revealed he has no intention of leaving Tottenham this season but admitted he was at the club to make money and score goals, not endear himself to fans.
‘For me, I am not here to win any fans back. I am here to do my job as a professional,’ he said, ‘I just want to play football and enjoy myself. I know if you do good, they will applaud you. I know if you do bad, they will boo you. It is as simple as that.

‘A lot of people say I always play for contracts — at the end of the day, we are all footballers. This is my life, this is my work, this is what I do to feed my family. At the moment I have a contract with Tottenham, I am committed to the club and I will always give my best to my club.

He has been on the sidelines for nine weeks with injury, illness and a period of compassionate. He receives £100,000-a-week.
