As the campaign tour across the state continues, the All Progressives Congress Chairperson (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu revealed the party’s presidential flag bearer, Muhammadu Buhari’s was initial reluctance to run in the elections, saying: “We begged Muhammadu Buhari to contest again.”
Championing the cause of the presidential candidate, Tinubu continued in Yoruba: “Nigeria is challenged and we present to you a great leader who has the ability to think and do and equals to performance.
”Buhari is the man that can deliver because he is honest, he has integrity.”
Buhari himself later took to the stage, reiterating his commitment to restoring security, power supply, and infrastructure. “Certificates from Nigerian universities must be respected throughout the world,” he said emphasizing his plans to restore Nigeria Education.
