Photos: Obama and First Lady arrive in India and pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi

Not Saudi but India as many expected President Barack Obama  to assemble with the world leader this weekend to pay tribute to late Saudi King. However, Pres. opted to India earlier scheduled before the demise of Saudi King to pay his respects to civil rights icon Mahatma Gandhi during the first day of his three-day state visit to India this weekend.

The President threw rose petals at Raj Ghat, the memorial for India's independence icon in New Delhi, after being given a warm welcome by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
