Albinos trade  in the east African country a sick trade  where albinos are being attacked and killed for the good luck and prosperity their bodies supposed to bring, But the high prices their limbs command mean. They are hunted down like animals and sold by their own families for $75,000: Tanzania's albinos hacked apart by witchdoctors who believe their body parts 'bring luck' in sick trade 'fuelled by the country's elite' .

Children and adults are kept behind high walls in special centres, hidden away from the people who want to kill and maim them
Albinos are living in fear for their lives as greed drives their own families to turn on them. Some albinos have been put in camps for their own protection. Campaigners claim that in such a poor country, the only people who can afford the prices are wealthy politicians and businessmen - and point out that the attacks have increased ahead of an election year.

This case is not only peculiar with Tanzania, many other countries in west Africa,  have recorded cases in the Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Ghana, while there have also been attacks in southern countries like South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique.

Through the help of some agencies and some of their government officials, the issue is currently handled.

 This is a serious issue.
