2015 African Nations Cup update: Zambia and DR Congo settle for a 1-1 draw

Zambia and DR Congo equlaize for a 1-1 in their first match of the day two into the 2015 African Nations Cup tournament in Equatorial Guinea. It is the second 1-1 draw seen at the competition so far, with Gabon being the first team to record a victory with their win against Burkina Faso.

Zambia stormed into an early lead against DR Congo, finding the net inside the first two minutes of the match at the Ebebiyin stadium.

Given Singuluma gave the chipolopolos the lead, shooting his side in front as Congo Dr started chasing the game early on. Unbeaten in 11 matches in the Nations Cup competition, Zambia looked good to preserve that record.

Zambia's goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene was called into action as he made a spectacular save to preserve his side's lead. But he couldn't stop the goal from going in when Crystal Palace striker, Yannick Bolasie found the net for his team.
