With more than 300 people living in a place you would never imagine is situated in the United States. Pictured in this post is squalor camp where people live called the Jungle in San Jose California.
The California government decided to bulldoze the camp on Thursdays, December 4th 2014. In pictures you see construction workers dressed in white hazmat suits and accompanied by bulldozers descended Thursday on a trash-strewn California creek bed in the heart of Silicon Valley to begin.
As residents are dislocated from their shanty homes, more than 50 mud-splattered, angry men and women dragged their few worldly possessions out of their tents and ramshackle huts.
‘People drive by and look at us like we're circus animals,’ said a sobbing Nancy Ortega who also reside there.
