Awkward! Watch Ellen DeGeneres prank call Leah Remini's husband on air - only for another woman to answer

Leah Remini appeared to catch her husband cheating on her red-handed during her appearance on Ellen DeGeneres this week.

Luckily, she has since revealed it was a huge joke but the moment was jaw-dropping if it were to be true. Actress Leah joined Ellen as she called her husband Angelo Pagan, as part of an ongoing prank war between the two.

But when the host got through to the hotel he was staying in a woman answered, saying Angelo couldn't get to the phone. That moment the world stops - and it was all on air in front of the shocked audience.

Leah furiously grabbed the phone from Ellen's hand shouting "what the f***?" and asking "Who is this?". Lol!!

As an awkward-looking Ellen tried to grab the phone, Leah simply slapped her away as the woman answered: "This is Tiffany. Who's this?"

We imagine the audience wanted to sink into the floor around now.
Tiffany fired back: "Er, his wife. Who's Tiffany?" To which the woman could be heard in the background saying: "You're married?"

It's all your nightmares and more, but then bizarrely a doorbell rang, the pair laughed and she was whisked off stage as a Christmas segment started.

Leah has since responded to concerned fans on Twitter, reassuring them it was a joke, writing: "Regarding the Ellen show today; it was just a joke to throw the audience off to surprise them with the gifts! Me and @ apangelo are good!"
