Ebola Update: “They left him to die like a dog” – Sister of Liberian Thomas Duncan, First Person Diagnosed with Ebola in US

=Mary Pearson
Questions over Thomas Eric Duncan death has left many baffled, the Liberian man who become the first person to be diagnosed with Ebola Virus on United States soil. Why did he have to die? How come every other Ebola patient in the US has been cured? Why couldn’t he be saved just like they were? These are questions that have plagued the minds of Duncan’s family and loved ones.

His sister, 52-year-old Mary Pearson, recently shared her thoughts on the matter with Daily Mail. Here are excerpts from the interview:

On why she thinks Duncan died
Eric suffered in exile and it really hurts me. They didn’t feel sorry for him. They didn’t give him drugs. They had the means to treat him but they treated him like a dog. They are wicked. They didn’t treat him because they said he brought Ebola to America.

Her theory about how Ebola & AIDS came into existence
What we heard is that Ebola was created by the Americans and they sent it to kill us. You are the ones that sent it to kill us. They sent the virus and infected people here. Then they blamed Liberians for Ebola. They killed that boy for nothing…
There is a weapon (AIDS)  that can be put in a room where there are black and white people, and it will kill only the black and spare the white, because it is a genotype weapon that is designed for your genes, for your race, for your kind.

On last moments spent with her brother before his trip to the US
I hugged him and I was ruffling his hair because he was always cleaning his hair.  He was happy. We were all happy that day. His son had sent for him and he was going to America to see him.

His family in the US filed a lawsuit against Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital due to what they described as the hospital’s negligence in handling the case.

According to reports, Duncan visited the hospital when he first began developing symptoms, and informed them that he had recently visited Africa. Despite having an extremely high temperature, they sent him home. Three days later, the symptoms manifested in full force, and he was hospitalized and subsequently died.

However, the family has finally reached a settlement with the Presbyterian Hospital reports . Details of the settlement were not revealed, however; sources say it will be enough to care for Duncan’s parents and his four children report NBC news Also, the hospital has waived the hospital fee for Duncan’s treatment.
