Patience Jonathan’s visit may have Killed Kid and another Injured in Stampede

The programme was organized by the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDGs in collaboration with the Bayelsa State Government through the MDGs conditional grant scheme and office of the First Lady resulted in Stampede.

According to Vanguard,  at the Samson Siasia Stadium venue of the distribution of economic empowerment items and commodities to indigenes of Bayelsa State by the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan.

Eye witnesses said the kids were trampled on in a stampede caused by armed security men including men of the Joint Task Force code named Operation Pulo Shield .
