Ebola Spanish Nurse Cured of Ebola wants $190K for dead dog

Some people are so lucky to come from countries where their are functional institutions like Judicial System.

Unlike in developing countries e.g Nigeria, how many people have issued government on the death of their loved ones in Boko Haram insurgence. Maybe that's too far, let say sue government for bad roads that constantly results in loss of lives in accident.

Here is a Spanish nurse who was cured of Ebola but was devastated when her pet dog named Excalibur was killed as precautions and she wants $190,000 for her loss, express.co.uk reported.

Teresa Romero’s attorneys said the decision to kill the dog on Oct. 8 was “improvised and taken against medical advice.”

Romero, who was released from a hospital last Wednesday, slamed Spanish authorities for ordering Excalibur to be put down amid concerns he might transmit the deadly virus.

An online petition signed by more than 300,000 people failed to spare Excalibur’s life. Romero and her husband, Javier, regarded the dog as their child. Lol!

Romero had volunteered to help treat two Spanish missionaries who caught Ebola in Africa and later died in Madrid. She was diagnosed Oct. 6 and spent a month in isolation.

Romero also plans on suing Javier Rodriguez, Madrid’s health chief, for defamation after he accused her of hiding information from her health care providers before she was hospitalized. He later apologized.
