Photos: Duchess of Alba, the World's most titled aristocrat, Dies


The 18th Spain's Duchess of Alba, who died on Thursday November 20th at her Duenas Palace residence in Seville from pneumonia, aged 88, was one of Europe's wealthiest and most titled aristocrats, the owner of fabulous palaces and priceless works of art.

Maria del Rosario Cayetana Alfonsa Victoria Eugenia Francisca Fitz-James Stuart y Silva, known to friends as 'Cayetana', was named by Guinness World Records as the world's most titled person.Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, who is worth about $2billion. 


At her death bed after a short illness, she was surrounded by family in the 14th century Palacio de Duenas in Seville, famous for its lemon-tree-filled courtyards and her favorite of her many properties.

She was 14 times a Spanish grandee, five times a duchess, once a countess-duchess, 18 times a marchioness, 18 times a countess and once a viscountess, according to the entry.

Don't ask me why the man fell in love with 85 years woman at that time. Lol!
All I can say is that don't lose hope if your husband is on the way.


The three-times married mother of 6 became popular worldwide after plastic surgery dramatically changed her look. She was survived by her last husband, her six children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
