The CEO of the Total oil was killed in Moscow on the 19th of October, 2014 after his private jet crashed into an airport snowplough driven by a drunk man.
Christophe de Margerie and three crew on board the Falcon 50 Paris-bound jet died instantly when the jet burst into flames after colliding with snowplough.
The "intoxicated" driver of the vehicle survived the collision. However, the question remains, why was the plane allowed to takeoff if the runway was not cleared.
