A Chinese Boy Had His Arm Ripped Off By A Bear He Tried To Pat At The Zoo

This is a very sad incident for a nine-year-old boy who had his arm ripped off by a bear at the zoo he tried to pat. 

His limb was severed by the bear and left in the bear's enclosure, just minutes after the savage attack.

At first, the child stood in shock, not even crying, as blood streams down his shirt before the medical assistance arrived.

The incidence happened  at Hebin Park Zoo, in Pingdingshan city in central CHina's Henan province with his grandfather.

Just moment after the grandfather left to buy sweets, the child moved over the safety rail to get nearer to the animal and reached in to stroke it.

At this point the bear put his head through the bars and grabbed the boy by his arm he screamed as he struggle to get his arm before it torn free off his shoulder.

Zoo staff could not do anything.
